Sydney Water introduced the new rules for the individual metering of units for most new multi-level buildings in September 2014. Complying with these rules is a condition of connecting to Sydney Water's system and is included in the Sydney Water Notice of Requirements (NOR) or Complying Section 73 Certificate requirements letters.
